Digital pathology is a unique technology for digital scanning, storage, and processing of histological specimens. Digital pathology greatly simplifies the consultation process after the initial diagnosis, which in turn reduces the time for obtaining a second opinion from days to even weeks.
Additionally, the technology integrates artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms into the diagnostic process. Combining human expertise with AI-based analysis makes the results of immunohistochemical studies even more accurate.
This modern method of diagnosing oncological diseases has become the gold standard in the medical field in European countries, Israel, the United Kingdom, and the United States in recent years.
