Currently, Ukraine remains at the forefront of a humanitarian crisis due to the ongoing war on its territory. Hundreds of thousands of internally displaced people have sought refuge from the horrors of war, being deprived of everything they had.
The Wakeup Foundation makes every effort to assist people in difficult life circumstances, including internally displaced persons in Ukraine. The Foundation is launching a special program to collect food and essential items.
The food packages for internally displaced persons include all the necessary products to meet their nutritional needs for a certain period. These packages typically contain a variety of grains, canned goods, pasta, sweets, butter, sugar, and other essential products.
Item and weight:
- Grains (rice, buckwheat, millet, wheat) – 1 kg
- Pasta – 1 kg
- Sugar – 1 kg
- Salt – 0.5 kg
- Sunflower oil – 1 liter
- Canned meat – 0.5 kg
- Canned fish – 0.33 kg
- Canned vegetables – 0.4 kg
- Flour – 1 kg
- Chicken eggs – 1 dozen
- Tea bags – 50 pcs.
- Biscuits – 0.5 kg
The average cost of one package is $25.
It is necessary to purchase and deliver 10,000 food packages to Ukraine.
These food packages are of significant help to people who have gone through tough times and had to leave their homes. Thanks to our project, they will be able to receive essential items and food for free and feel the support and care from society.
The Wakeup Foundation aims to actively collaborate with governmental and non-governmental organizations, as well as the local community, to effectively implement this project and achieve the greatest positive impact on the lives of internally displaced persons. It is important to note that support for these people is provided not only in the form of material goods but also through psychological and social assistance, creating conditions for their successful reintegration into a new environment.
The Wakeup Foundation is proud of its mission to help those who need it most and continues to make every effort to alleviate their difficulties and give hope for a better future. This food package program for internally displaced persons is just one of the many initiatives of the Foundation.
